Mepunga Blazer x Shima Song

Shima Song was a two-time Group 2 winner and one of the more naturally talented chasers in the modern era.

She finished with 28 wins from 65 starts, and recorded some extremely fast times, including a brilliant 29.24 at Sandown on Melbourne Cup night, where she ran faster than the Cup winner.

Her brilliance has continued through her exploits as a mother, producing the brilliant Shima Shine from her first litter to Barcia Bale. Shima Shine broke a four-year old track record at Ballarat over 450 metres and is one of the country’s premier sprinters. Mepunga Blazer has been one of the most popular young sires in the country after an incredible Group 1-winning career.
