With 15 years of greyhound ownership experience, Peter Cameron, who is based out of Western Australia, boasts an impressive resume owning number of group class dogs.

Cameron’s 2018 draft graduates include Wallbanger, a winner of the Geelong Vic Breeders and a greyhound showing lots of talent.

Chris Halse
One of Western Australia’s leading trainers for many years, picking up a plethora of training titles and awards along the way. This year he took out the 2018/19 Australian Trainer of the Year award from Greyhound Clubs Australia.

Shayne Williams
Shayne’s involvement in greyhound racing has spanned for over 30 years, mainly as an owner, breeder and part-time trainer and he has also been a well-respected track curator and lure driver, working for Greyhounds WA for a number of years.

In his first year back training, Shayne has seen Black On Lava make the Group 1 Galaxy and is slowly building up his team in what has been a great start to his new venture.

Tony Brett: QLD Hall of Fame Trainer with 19 Group 1 winners to his credit. One of his current stars is classy chaser Hammer Down, a winner of four of his first six career starts.

Fernando Bale x Esparza

Esparza was known for her speed and strength, and managed to place in two Group finals, including a narrow runner’s-up effort in the Group 1 Superstayers at The Meadows.

She finished her career with 10 wins and over $100,000 in prizemoney. She is now a proven dam, producing the likes of potential staying star Blazing Cartier and Group 1 Gold Cup finalist Stevick.

This mating is to recent Hall of Famer Fernando Bale, who has lived up to his incredible racing career by becoming one of the best sires this country has ever seen.

Fernando Bale x Flash Riot

Flash Riot was a lightly-raced chaser who came from a litter choc-full of very talented chasers, including the likes of Group 2 Warragul Cup finalist Fuelish.

Her dam Raya Riot was also responsible for producing Group 1 Hume Cup winner Rockoon, who looked set for a massive staying future before injury struck. Flash Riot herself has continued the Group 1 theme after her daughter Start A Riot took out this year’s Peter Mosman in flying time at Wentworth Park. All four members of her Magic Sprite litter have been winners.

Sire Fernando Bale is the reigning Australian Greyhound of the Year and has sired the likes of Australian Cup champ Dyna Patty, the world’s most popular stayer Tornado Tears and 2018 TOPGUN champ Poke The Bear.

Despite being based in WA, Pepper Fire often made the trek to Victoria, making the Group 1 finals of the Sapphire Crown and Temlee, recording 29.50 at Sandown and 30.00 at The Meadows.

She hails from a damline that has produced the likes of Hall of Famer Miata and recent Group 1 National Sprint Champ Premium Share.
My Redeemer enjoyed a remarkable career, winning last year’s Group 1 Melbourne Cup to go along with his Group 1 Harrison Dawson victory at Sandown Park.
