Famous for his dogs that race under the prefix ‘Aston’, Ray has had considerable success over the years including with the 2017 Melbourne Cup winner, Aston Dee Bee – one of the most used sires in the country throughout 2019. He has greyhounds racing across Australia including impressive youngster Aston Bintang.

Aston Dee Bee x Mepunga Fame

Mepunga Fame was a Group 1 finalist who finished her career with 16 wins and $92,000 in prizemoney.

Her first litter to Barcia Bale has broken in with good reports. Fame comes from a litter that included Mepunga Tyler –  a 29.23 winner at Sandown Park. Aston Dee Bee was one of the best sons of champion sire Barcia Bale, winning the Group 1 Melbourne Cup and breaking a number of track records along the way.

Black Magic Opal x Belt Up Tubsy

Belt Up Tubsy finished in the top three in six of her seven career starts before retiring to the breeding barn. She was part of a litter that included Group 2 Warrnambool Classic and Group 1 NZ Cup runner-up Cactus Jack.

She has already proven that she is capable of producing quality offspring, with her litter to US sire SH Avatar producing six individual winners, including city winner Durant and the classy Belt Up Ronny.

Black Magic Opal has produced some outstanding offspring from limited matings in Australia, including dual Group 1 winner Lightning Frank and the freakish Bewildering.
